Role Overview
As a Project Delivery Engineer, you will be at the forefront of orchestrating IT and security projects, ensuring their success from conception to completion. This involves meticulous planning, technical oversight, and active field involvement. You will liaise closely with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders, manage resources effectively, and ensure all projects align with our high standards and client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership & Support: Offer expert technical guidance, understanding intricate IT infrastructure. Your role, while supervisory, is crucial in troubleshooting and advising on technical issues.
- Field Engagement: Actively participate in key project phases on-site, ensuring operational excellence and efficiency.
- Full Project Lifecycle Management: Manage projects from initiation to completion, handling resources, scheduling, and stakeholder relationships.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee User Acceptance Testing and client handovers, upholding high standards of delivery.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in project delivery, specifically in IT.
- Strong IT technical background, with in-depth knowledge of Networking, Servers, and Storage.
- Excellent organisational, planning, and team management skills.
- Effective communication skills and a commitment to customer service.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Full UK driving license and willingness for significant travel.
