The Role in Brief:
We're opening doors for a Solutions Engineer to become an integral part of our vibrant technical brigade. This is a full-time, long-term position that's vital for our rapid corporate growth. You'll be a part of an elite technical unit, including Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 Engineers. You'll report directly to the IT Service Desk Team Leader and contribute to an environment that’s both challenging and rewarding.
Please note that a satisfactory DBS check is a requirement for the selected candidate.
What You'll Do:
- Rapidly address and solve technical queries from both everyday users and VIPs.
- Oversee Mobile Device Management (MDM) via Intune / Jamf.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with desktop environments.
- Maintain current and accurate customer documentation.
- Collaborate on modifications to enhance customer systems.
- Aid in the smooth deployment of projects and technological upgrades.
- Uphold a high standard of customer service.
Your Skill Set:
- Proficient in managing Windows Desktop environments, including Azure and M365.
- Exceptional communication and people skills.
- Solid understanding of core networking protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Self-motivated and capable of independent work.
- Eagerness to acquire new competencies.
- Added advantages include prior experience in resolving issues with audiovisual equipment, printers, and network shares. The ability to offer both remote and face-to-face VIP support is highly desirable.
Additional Qualifications (Not Mandatory but Appreciated):
- Prior experience in Mobile Device Management (MDM).
- Familiarity with supporting Apple MacOS.
- Skill in application packaging.
- Knowledge of ITSM tools like Autotask PSA, IT Glue, or AD.
- Experience in Softphone Management.
