Senior Product Owner (Remote)

We're looking for a highly motivated Senior Product Owner with a background in B2B e-commerce development to join an IT supplier that specialises in helping education organisations adapt to the constantly changing technology landscape by providing valuable technology, offering personalised services, and providing reliable IT support. This is a remote role with a negotiable salary for the right candidate. 

Role Overview

Taking on the role of Senior Product Owner for our client, you'll collaborate with sales and marketing teams in key service and market segments – education, gaming, private, and public – combining sales of equipment, services, and recycling, among others. You'll gather business development requirements and prioritise those requirements with the development team according to business needs and ROI.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain excellent relationships with various stakeholders, such as sales, marketing, operations, and relevant third-party vendors.
• Measure the added value of development activities to maximize business value. 
• Assessing the demand pipeline, responding to resource constraints, and managing a delivery schedule with the development and technology provisioning teams.
• Analysing the outcome and ROI of delivered programs whilst ensuring they meet the performance standards. 
• Creating and managing the product roadmap whilst taking account of new developments in the industry marketplaces whilst assessing the need of key stakeholders and customers. 
• Establish work instructions, including functional and non-functional requirements, after analyzing, prioritizing and assessing requirements from the sales team. 

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience working in a similar position senior product ownership position. 
• Excellent knowledge of B2B E-commerce and delivery cycles. 
• Experience working within the IT Industry. 
• Strong product management skills
• CSPO or Advanced CSPO qualification - highly desired but not required.
