We are on the hunt for a highly motivated Senior Account Manager to join a credible Cisco gold partner who was voted as a Sunday Times Top 100 Best Places To Work! This hybrid position is based in the North West of England with an excellent salary of £50,000 plus uncapped commission and great benefits, including medical insurance, personal development opportunities, shopping discounts and lots more!

Role Overview

In this role, you will be an integral part of a new public sector team, concentrating on the North of England, where customers and sales targets are shared. Existing Education customers will be passed over to this team to manage and develop. The team will be required to do some business development, but it has strong support from our key vendors and has an established presence in other areas of the country to help in this endeavour.


  • Building a new customer base with support from the rest of the team.

  • To maintain technical proficiency with our key vendors and to continuously improve product knowledge, sales skills, and commercial awareness.

  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to persuade and influence them.

  • Ensure accurate sales forecasts are developed and delivered.

  • The ability to ability to control costs in line with project and budgetary expectations.

  • Maintaining and updating a Personal Development Plan and setting timetables for personal 'self-learning'.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a senior sales role within the public sector..

  • Previous IT reseller or Industry experience is preferable. Additionally, familiarity with the channel, distribution, and experience selling support and managed services is highly desirable.

  • It is highly desirable if you have knowledge of the Cisco education and Dell DC teams.

  • Good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture.

  • Highly developed networking, relationship and interpersonal skills.

  • B2B sales experience.

  • Excellent understanding and knowledge of MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and CRM.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
