Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Technician to join the schools dynamic team. Role Purpose: To deliver a robust IT service, facilitating a seamless environment for teaching, learning, and administration.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for technical support
- Monitor and manage computing devices and related hardware
- Implement security protocols such as backups and antivirus systems
- Assist in the maintenance and deployment of IT hardware and software assets
- Aid in the continuous growth of the internal knowledge base
Specific Duties:
- Log, track, and resolve technical service requests
- Perform elementary hardware repairs and upgrades
- Install and manage network cabling and perform basic diagnostic tasks
- Implement directed changes to IT systems
- Maintain and update hardware and software asset lists
- General Expectations:
- Adhere to all institutional policies and procedures
- Engage in ongoing performance management and training programs
- Build excellent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Represent the organization at events when needed
Qualifications:
- A strong skillset in the management of users within a Windows environment
- The ability to troubleshoot issues with hardware, identifying faults and resolving/escalating as required
- Ability to manage and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff
- Strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in Windows 10, basic Network Operations, and Classroom Audio Visual hardware
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work closely and establish positive working relationships with key
