Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Technician to join the schools dynamic team. Role Purpose: To deliver a robust IT service, facilitating a seamless environment for teaching, learning, and administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for technical support
  • Monitor and manage computing devices and related hardware
  • Implement security protocols such as backups and antivirus systems
  • Assist in the maintenance and deployment of IT hardware and software assets
  • Aid in the continuous growth of the internal knowledge base

Specific Duties:

  • Log, track, and resolve technical service requests
  • Perform elementary hardware repairs and upgrades
  • Install and manage network cabling and perform basic diagnostic tasks
  • Implement directed changes to IT systems
  • Maintain and update hardware and software asset lists
  • General Expectations:
  • Adhere to all institutional policies and procedures
  • Engage in ongoing performance management and training programs
  • Build excellent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Represent the organization at events when needed

Qualifications:

  • A strong skillset in the management of users within a Windows environment
  • The ability to troubleshoot issues with hardware, identifying faults and resolving/escalating as required
  • Ability to manage and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff
  • Strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Windows 10, basic Network Operations, and Classroom Audio Visual hardware
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work closely and establish positive working relationships with key
