IT Support Engineer

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join a leading EdTech company working with one of their Netherlands-based clients! This job is perfect if you enjoy working in a fast-paced technical environment! The role itself is based in Amsterdam with a salary of up to €60,000 plus benefits!

Role Overview

This is a client-facing role in which you will closely collaborate with all departments within our client's business. The primary focus of this role is to maintain the operational efficiency of the team's technology. Responsibilities include setting up and troubleshooting hardware, providing assistance with Office365 issues, managing inventory, and working closely with the office manager to ensure proper tracking of all activities.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting end users with their technical queries.
• Setup and troubleshooting of hardware for the team and office.
• Identifying and fixing desktop problems. 
• Support users that encounter problems with their Office 365 environment, and liaise with our support partners and other parts of our organisation.
• Implementing equipment rollouts and assisting with project delivery.
• Ensuring documentation is kept up to date at all times.
• Working with the team to identify and implement changes to the Customer Environments to address common issues. 
• Resolving AV equipment, printers and network sharing problems.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Strong experience working within a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge and experience supporting Apple MacOS.
• Strong experience working with Windows Desktop, networking fundamentals TCP/IP DNS DHCP, HyperV, Jamf Connect and HP enterprise switching. 
• Strong technical understanding of Office365 and supporting users in it (online and on-site).
• Experience using MDM (Mobile Device Management).
• Excellent troubleshooting ability. 
• Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
