Role Overview

This role is full time, and you will be responsible for developing a cohesive approach to data management for our client. Reporting to the Head of IT, your work will need to be in line with our client’s overarching IT strategy.

The successful candidate will receive a salary of up to £38,000 (depending on experience), and a 8.35% pension contribution.   • Have an overview of all data management across our client’s workforce and develop a clear strategy to ensure accurate and standardised processes are used
  • Monitor our client’s use of data to ensure data is being utilised to inform and develop relevant areas
  • Ensure data is used to inform and support all stakeholders
  • Stay on top of data best practice and recommend improvements when necessary
  • Report to the Digital Strategy Committee as required
  • Work with the Head of IT and Compliance Manager to ensure GDPR and data compliance practices are followed
  • Be responsible for the overall management of the MIS (ISAMS) and oversee integrations
  • Train staff on MIS when needed
  • Create custom SQL reports as required
  • Take overall responsibility for our client’s communication platforms
  • Develop our client’s use of MSP
  • Work with admissions and marketing to develop our client’s enquiries platform
  • Help to ensure safeguarding practices are managed properly
  • Oversee the use of our client’s calendar and associated systems

Essential Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:

  • IT Database qualifications or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of MIS
  • Experience of SQL Developer/SSRS
  • Experience in a similar data management role
  • Experience of the following systems would be very useful: ISAMS - MIS, WCBS PASS, Access HR, CPOMS, Salamander, My School Portal, School Post, SOCS, Parent Pay, Google GSuite/GMail and Microsoft 365

Person Specification:

  • Good attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self motivated
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and organise workload
  • Interest in keeping up to date with IT developments
  • Comfortable working as part of a team

Nice to have but not essential:

  • Good honours degree
  • Working knowledge of ISAMS
