Role Overview 

In this role, you will be responsible for managing repair tickets from start to finish and working closely with other team members to ensure that a high-quality service is provided. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct thorough fault diagnosis and inspection of Apple Macs and iOS devices, both within and outside of the warranty coverage.
  • Perform repairs on Apple Macs and iOS devices in accordance with Apple's guidelines and standards, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Utilise Apple's GSX platform efficiently to facilitate the ordering of necessary parts and to manage the repair process until completion.
  • Communicate effectively with end users via phone, email, and the helpdesk, providing prompt and helpful assistance regarding their devices.
  • Coordinate with couriers to schedule the collection and delivery of devices for repair purposes, ensuring timely and secure transportation.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of ISO procedures related to device repairs, ensuring adherence to company protocols and standards.
  • Keep abreast of the latest Apple products, updates, and repair techniques to stay knowledgeable and up-to-date in the field.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to share knowledge, insights, and best practices to collectively enhance repair efficiency and service quality.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback professionally and promptly.
  • Strive to achieve and exceed repair targets, while constantly seeking opportunities to improve repair processes and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Requirements/Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar IT Support role, with a strong emphasis on handling Apple Hardware and providing technical assistance to end users.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues specific to Apple Macs and iOS devices, showcasing in-depth knowledge of Apple products.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service, with the ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical users.
  • A strong understanding of technology and how multiple platforms and services interoperate. 
  • Ability to demonstrate solutions to customers when necessary
